We produced this holiday specimen in the late 1990s. And did again a few years later on straight-cut card stock then added a thin white, hand painted border. Think ahead and order your for 2021-22. Bespoke only.
Look carefully. You can see the tell-tale “bruise”, the hallmark of engraved stationery. Engraving presses, referred to as die-stamping presses, impart approximately two-tons of pressure per square inch. Literally forcing the ink from the die or plate, onto the paper or card stock. The extreme pressure leaves the bruise.
Our New Years card is hand engraved in two ink colors, black and white, on our vintage, deckle-edge, “Oh That Pink” card.
