These are but a few of the dozens of variations through which the Eskew+Dumez+Ripple logo "tweak" project developed. A tweak is a delicate finesse, an "after market" modification of that which already exists. We did not design this logo, our role was to bring to perfection the letter forms and counter forms inherent in its design. Such work is standard fare in the world of corporate logos as well as personal monograms. Mrs. Collins' work in the minute fine points of typography compliment and inform her expertise in graphic design and bespoke hand engraved letter papers.

Note that the weight (thickness) of the strokes (lines) change making it more and more legible while maintaining the original character.

A special ligature for the juncture of the "R" and "i" was created so the formal relationship would be more elegant.
